Very nice detail and excellent golden-yellow patina. Unsigned. Netsuke measures 0.94 inches (2.4cm) wide, 1.46 inches (3.7cm) long, and 1.28 inches (3.2cm) tall. Netsuke has an age hairline, but, it is otherwise in excellent condition, as may be seen in the posted photos.

Chinese miniature porcelain tea caddy with gold decoration. All the gold painting is intact and shows no wear which is pretty amazing. Dates mid to late 1700's, it is a fantastic little piece for the collector. In excellent condition, that is as originally made, the only imperfections are little pin pricks in the firing which is normal. This had a cork stopper which is inside the caddy. This is pure antique Edo: Wan-shaped tea bowl made of dark, iron oxide bearing, sandy Karatsu clay. The thinly thrown body is covered with the typical white, feldspatic Shino type glaze. It differs from the Mino Shino glaze by being glossier due to a higher ash content.
