Offered is this beautiful Bohemian Moser glass dish with tooled-rim. The dish is 6 inches (15 cm) wide. The dish is made on an aqua-to-clear glass blank. It has a polished pontil and is in very good condition. Though unsigned, it is guaranteed to have been made by Moser - according to Gary Baldwin, tooled rims of the type present on this dish, "to date, have only been found on Moser decorated glass" (reference: page 85 of his book, 'Moser Artistic Glass Edition Two').

19th century small wooden netsuke (works as ojime as well) carved as seated Zen Patriarch Daruma enveloped in his monastic robe. According to a legend he had fallen into deep trance, and sat meditating without moving for 9 years, so his feet withered. Skillfully carved out of ichii (yew wood) in characteristic Hida school style with clever use of wood color and structure to add to the charm of the piece. Nice patina, in great condition. A Chinese white porcelain snuff bottle, probably Dehua, known in the West as ‘Blanc de Chine’. The moulded body, each side decorated with a central roundel of flowers surrounded with a pair of bats and a Shou character. The stopper, missing its spoon, appears to be faded purple stained soapstone. The thin body is very translucent and inside there are traces of former contents.
