This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Crown Staffordshire in the early 20th century. They have a diameter of 8 1/8 inches. They are made of fine, white bone china. The reserve in the center is hand painted with landscapes. There are oval reserves on the borders of the plates with bunches of brightly colored flowers. The borders have lavender stripes alternating with panels of gilded leaves...

This bisque porcelain figure was produced in the mid 19th century. It has the initials L&M impressed in the base. We do not know the country of origin but it most likely is Continental. I have seen many antique paintings of mountain tigers, but none with this level of realism. This Chinese painting dates late Qing, 1910-1912, possibly early Republic, pre 1920. The seal indicates that it came from a shop in Southern China. It measures approximately 17" wide x 48" high.

This is a charming old cloisonne teapot from the later part of the Qing Dynasty in China. The dish was evidently sold undecorated to an amateur artist who painted it. The dish has cut out handles on the sides. It is 8 1/4 inches across the handles. The roses are painted with delicacy. You have buds to full blown blooms in pink and rose. The dish is trimmed with gilding. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Royal Vienna around 1870. The diameter of the plate is 8 1/2 inches. The plate has sections of the border cut out with reticulated designs and painted with flowers and birds. There are also panels with colorful hand painted birds on branches. This is a Ming dynasty funerary sancai glazed horse.

There are no repair, restoration or chip. As a funerary horse object, a certain degree of abrasion, wear, soil calcificatio and degradation can be expected.The decolouralisation, abrasion, degradation and calcification can be seen in the photographs.

This is a medium size Han dynasty green and amber glazed vase. It is pretty rare to a vase with dual colour glazed. The vase has a flatten base, without footrim, then everted uowards to a bulb shaped body and then towards a short neck and everted mouth rim. The base of the vase showed that it is produced from red pottery earth.

There are degradtion to the glaze as shown very clearly in the photos.Ther are no chip, crack or restoration to Han dynasty vase.

This is a small Yuan dynasty blue and white jarlet with a flat base and a bulb shaped body. It has two stylized stalk of sun flowers drawn around the center of the jarlet. The blue and white jarlet is probably used for oinment or some medication.

This is a lime glazed bowl with a lime green ruyi at the upper band of the bowl and the lotus lappet at the bottom of the bowl just before the foot rim. In between the lime green ruyi band and lotus lappet are a mirror image bat or wufu surrounding the character shou or longevity. This is a famille jaune glaze bowl used for auspious events such as birthday and joyous occassions that calls for celeberation. This is a large Song dynasty cizhou glazed rectangular shaped pillow. The top of the pillow is incised with a single stalk of lotus flower in a pond within a carttouche inside a double line rectangular frame.

Some minor chips as shown in the picrures, especially number 4, along the edges. There are also some soil calcification especially can be seen on the top left hand of the pillow, abrasion and wear. Overall in good condition.

Antique Kurdish bagface, or bag front, Northwest Persia, late nineteenth--early 20th Century, 14" by 19". Single Memling gul in blue-green, brown-black, dark ivory, several shades of red, apricot, midnight blue, etc. Multicolored diagonal stripe border. Original selvedge, good condition. All dyes appear natural, including the beautiful apricot often found in this type of bag.

This Indonesian container would have been carried by a man using the handmade string as a shoulder strap. The "purse" was hand carved out of a local hardwood and both the top and bottom have decorative details.

The container sits stably on it base but can also be hung on the wall as an interesting sculpture artifact.
