A Han Dynasty terra cotta horse head with a very animated expression. There are some traces of red pigmentation on the straps of the horse head.

All original hand forged iron hardware including the Hirute handles and Urushi lacquered body. Lock plates shaped in the form of the auspicious Paulownia leaf. Upper section has 2 drawers and a hinged safety door with two small drawers behind. Lower section has 2 full width drawers.

An antique Japanese bamboo Ikebana basket in a ballister shape with a cross-hatch weaving of bi-color bamboo closed woven into a design reminiscent of a classic Japanese garden bamboo fence. The body features 1/2 split bamboo with its nodules accentuating its natural form. It has a low foot with a 2 slat bottom. The handle and mouth are Wisteria attached and reinforced with the same bi-color bamboo strips. Natural soot patina. It contains a bamboo vessel for water and flowers.

Antique Japanese ranma (transom). Carved from sugi wood on both sides with a scene of a twisting pine tree and stalks of bamboo. Framed in black lacquered hinoki wood. This architectural detail would have been built into a Japanese home usually over a door or window.

Rare Georgian "Dear-Regard" ring set in 15K gold. The center motif of a flower is set with a "R"uby, "E"merald, "G"arnet, "A"methyst", "R"uby, and "D"iamond, the first letters of the stones spelling "Regard". The groups of stones on the cusps of the band are set with a "D"iamond, "E"merald, "Amethyst", and "R"uby, the first letters of the stones spelling "Dear". Historically the rings given as a token of love were either "Dearest" or "Regard". This ring is a combination of both sentiments.

This is a fine 12 inch Japanese Cloisonne vase done with the very popular draping wisteria pattern. The enamel and wire silver wire work in the wisteria decorations are of a high standard. From the scroll work it appears to be an early Ando, Ito or Kinuken piece. The form is unusual and the piece is better than the images show. Condition is excellent.
