This is Japanese meiji zanshi weave noragi hanten textile. These late 19th century Chinese Famille Rose 8 sided ceramic bowls with fitted wood bases are 3 ¾” high (with base is 5 ¾” high) and 8” wide. On the outside of the bowls, there are images of 8 young ladies playing traditional musical instruments. There are floral designs on the inside. There is a red honorific Yung Zheng mark on the bottoms. One bowl has a 2 3/4" long hair line crack inside and a small chip shows on the outside rim. Please see image 4.

THIS POT WAS FOUND IN THE MUSI RIVER, CLOSE TO PALEMBANG CITY, WHICH WAS THE CAPITAL OF THE SRIVIJAYA KINGDOM AND WHICH HAD A VAST TRADE NETWORK WITH CHINA AND SIAM. This is a decorated bronze axle hub pin from the Warring States period in ancient China (circa 475 BC). This pin weighs 80 grams and measures just over 8 cm in length. It was recovered from the same site as the decorated axle hub that I have listed (item # 732555) Since it does not quite fit that axle hub, I am selling the two pieces separately. Antique Sri Lankan ceramic figure of seated Hanuman, the Hindu god in monkey form, hero of the Ramayana and devoted friend to Rama. Seated with one knee raised and hands together in prayer, Hanuman's face is full of compassion. His tall crown denotes his status. Traces of green and white pigments remain.

This panel displays a scene of two people in a landscape setting, one holding a flute and the other holding a fan. It was later bordered with a black silk band which has slightly separated from the panel in two areas at the top and bottom, as seen in the photographs. Wooden carving of Daruma or Bodhidharma, a Buddhist monk who lived in the 5th or 6th century CE. He is depicted as ill-tempered and is shown here with a deep frown as he meditates. This Daruma carving is painted with red, bronze, and gold lacquer paint and appears to have once been mounted as the top and bottom have holes carved into them and a metal rod going through it to be affixed to a structure, most likely a lamp. A rare ca. 12th Century S-E Asian Bronze Bell from the Estate of Johan and Randi Daehlfeldt, Denmark. This bell is still sonorous and has a nice relief design on top.
