Ritual dagger ("phurpa") formerly used by a shaman during religious ceremonies. Wood, with nice dark patina. Textiles attached on top with a chain. Old restoration with a forged metal point on the lower part of the dagger. Nepal, early 19th century. Height: 13 1/4" (32,5 cm). The phurpa is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Good condition.
A small famille verte dish from Chinese transitional period (early 17th century), it was probably made for the Japanese market. There is a "jade" character inside the double circles mark inside the foot rim. Condition: there are four tiny and shallow chips on the rim of the dish, and have been patched, please examine the photos for details. Good antique condition other than this. Diameter: 4-3/4".

Chinese jade pair of horses with a monkey riding one the back of one of the horses. The imagery used on this Chinese carving can be derived from the noted legend of Journey to the West, where the monkey king is assigned by the Jade Emperor to oversee the heavenly stables, but does mischief in the end. Horses in East Asia represent swiftness and the monkey representing representing foolishness yet with the ability to learn its lesson. Age: 20th century. Size: height 4.25" width 5.5" length 6.5"
This is a set of twelve late Qing Dynasty Famille Rose Mille Fleurs (thousand flowers) plates. Each plate is 1” high and 7 1/2” in diameter. A large pink peony appears in the center of each plate; chrysanthemum, lily, hibiscus, iris and several unknown flowers fill the tops of the plates. There are Guang Xu (1875~1908) marks and three separate floral (peony) designs on the back. The workmanship is elegant. The gold edging on the rims has slightly rubbed off...

Antique Chinese tassels from the 18th centur, Sino-TIbetan. The tassels are inlaid gilt and lacquered iron with red horse hair, probably used as ornaments on a horse for the saddle. The decoration has fret key bands and an endless knot pattern. The tassles are displayed in a plastic case. The top of the tassle measures 4" long(10.2 cm).
Antique Japanese carved burlwood round container decorated with blooming hibiscus flowers and a canary perched on a branch. The carvings are finely incisised details with relief ridges defining leaf veins, stamen, and petal edges. A central round medallion decorates the bttom of the inner chamber. The carvings on the lid of the box match up with the base. It measures 7" in diameter, 5.75" tall. Late Meiji, 1868-1912, or early Taisho period, 1912-1926.
Beautiful and sublime Southeast Asian vase from the Angkor Period (c. 800-1200 A.D.) The vase appears to be done in a dark brown to a black-ish color glaze with molded or carved fluting on the top and bottom of the vase. Age: 800-1300 A.D. Size: height 14" diameter 7.75"
Pair of Japanese Lacquered jubako or tiered box used for placing sweets inside. The box is decorated with motif of waves done in mother of pearl. The lid and the side of the boxes contain images of prunus done in hira-makie. The jubako was done in the Ryukyu Islands where the motifs contain influences from Japan, China, Korea, and Southeast Asia.

Antique Chinese celadon stoneware bowl with green glaze. The bowl has subtle textures, the center has a faint lotus flower encircled by an incised line, the body has radiating lines from the center, the rim of the bowl is slightly recessed. It measures 14" in diameter, 5" tall. The base has an unglazed ring where it was fired in the kiln and the unglazed ceramic can be seen.

Chinese blue and white porcelain Incense Burner or censer, made in later part of 1800's to early 1900's' 3 3/8" high, 7 1/4" diameter, various style of bands in underglaze blue, unglazed area inside half way down to the bottom. Black ink writings on the bottom under the thick white glaze round dot, about 3/4" wide. No damage or restoration.
