Engagement book made by the famous Yamanaka & Co. Inc. in New York. Antique Chinese brocade with dragons in roundels between auspicious symbols and an open-worked white jade plaque, dating from the 19th century, assembled to a diary with mechanical pencil. Condition: edges of the brocade with wear and tears. Dimension: book: 19.3 cm x 15.3 cm, weight: 260 g, jade: 5.8 cm x 5.8 cm.
This is a very fine and beautiful small famille rose tea pot. It depicts a beautiful summer scence with a pair of pairs, one perching on a tree and the other flying towards it. There is also some bamboo trees, gourd plants and lindzhi to the right of the taihu rock. The scence also depicts a beautiful red poeny flower to the right. To the left and right it depicts a red and yellow crab apple trees in full bloom...
A Yuan Longquan Celadon Ewer. Length approximately 8.3 cm (the tipspout to the handle) and height 5.2 cm (the bottom to the rim). Few hairlines at the ewer. Good condition.
Yuan/Ming Longquan Celadon Ewer. Length approximately 9 cm (the tipspout to the handle) and height approximately 7.8 cm. An old repaired at the spout. Good condition.
A Yuan/Ming Crackle-Glazed Celadon Dish. Diameter approximately 12.6 cm. The dish covered with bluish green glaze and unglaze at the center. A 0.5 cm hairline at the rim. Good condition.
Decorated with Taotie Masks and a very nice Zhou-Style Birds-decoration in low relief against a leiwen-ground with traces of Gilding.
Qing Dynasty or earlier. More detailed conclusions concerning the date of the piece might express the mark resp. the signature to the base of the vase.
H : 24,3 cm.
Condition : Perfect.
A Chinese Bronze Censer, Qing Dynasty. Diameter approximately 11.2 cm (across handles), height approximately 4.5 cm (without the stand) 6.7 cm (with the stand). The censer has few tiny dents. Good condition.

Condition : Not artifically polished like often seen on Bamboo brush pots.
Nice, naturally grown patina. Some old superficial dry - cracks. Definitely not a single of these cracks extens until the inside of the bamboo body.
Provenance : Old German collection.
Although this very good bowl bears a overglaze red Qianlong mark the piece is most probably from the Guangxu period - at least the decoration of the bowl points to it.
