This is a finely carved and lacquered wood Ojime in the form of a Daruma Toy or "Okiagari Koboshi", meaning the little priest that gets up. The center cord hole or himotoshi are lined with shakudo or copper and gold alloy. Signed Hoshin in the back of the Daruma.
Ojime measures 0.63 inches (1.6cm) in diameter, and 0.80 inches (2.0cm) tall. It is in excellent condition as may be seen in the posted photos.

Antique Chinese carved agate snuff bottle with the image of a monkey siting upon a rock structure and holding an unusual object in his hands. A horse walks below the monkey, with an insect flying overhead. The backside has etched branches growing forth with a butterfly.

This is an Early 19th Century, Dear Horn Antler Netsuke in the form of a Recumbent Ox with a rope attached to its head that is laying on top of its body. Excellent detail and powerful compacted form on a material that is very difficult to carve. unsigned.
Netsuke measures 1.75inches (4.5cm) wide, 1.16 inches (3.0cm) deep, and 0.79 inches (2.0cm) tall. Ox's right rear hoof has been repaired, but, its otherwise, in excellent condition, as may be seen in the posted photos.

A tapered porcelain snuff bottle featuring a darling scene of 5 Chinese boys at play in which one child can be seen pulling an animal pull toy. Decorated in famille rose enamels the bottle comes with its original cap and bone spoon. The cap is green jade, and red glass the color of red coral. There are two opposing chips on the red section. Substantial sized Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period tobacco pipe with bamboo stem, horn (probably ox-horn) mouth piece, and baitong (paktong, or white brass) bowl and shank. The pipe measures 23” (61cm) in length and the bamboo stem is about 1” (2 to 2 ½cm) wide. Late 19th to early 20th century. Clearly well used but in very good overall condition.
