This lovely late 19th C Ko Kutani bijin is holding two opened fans with a flower on her head. Exquisite features and detailing, this already highly collectible Ko Kutani figure is even more special because the flower also serves as a candle holder. In very good condition, she measures 11" or 27.9 cm high.
Pair of 19th century Japanese sword menuki depicting kaki fruit - Japanese persimmon - on branches with leaves. Excellent design in Japanese taste. Bronze with beautiful brown patina, gold inlaid dewdrops on leaves, in great condition. Length 1 1/2 inches.
A Chinese Qingbai Bowl, 10th-12th century. Diameter approximately 17 cm and height approximately 5 cm. The bowl has a 2.5 cm hair line on the rim. In good condition.
Rare and unique (one of a kind), antique large Thai “parang” or “machete”, general purpose bush knife which was used in cutting and splitting rattan and bamboo. The handle is made of old, and nowadays rare, Thai Rosewood: Dalbergia cochinchinensis which has a nice chatoyance to the grain (sort of looks like Huanghuali to me 降香黄檀). The cutting edge is still sharp and usable; there are a couple of splits which is secured by a metal band. L: 64cm/25.2in.
A wonderful Japanese burl wood carving of a man with a very expressive face with black eyes, holding two containers, most of his body retaining the natural burl form of the wood, with a wide-stance atop a larger piece of natural burl. 19th Century

This is a beautiful cloisonne vase from Gonda with a unique form. The Wisteria colors are wonderful. It stands 12 inches tall. Has a bit of crazing at the top but it's very hard to notice.
Third son of the director of the Kano School of painting, Yasunobu was appointed head of the Kyoto branch at a young age after his father’s death. Meanwhile, his two older brothers went to Edo to take up prestigious positions painting for the Tokugawa Shogunate. In 1662 Yasunobu gained the honorific title of “Hogen,” and near the end of his life in his 70s he wrote a treatise on the art of painting that would server as a central doctrine for later generations of painters...
Chinese Tang dynasty Changsha bowl. 15cm diameter, there is small chipped at the rim. Free from any repair.
Ming Chenghua peiod ( 1465 - 1487 ) extremely nice decorated with three different kind of fish among water-plants.

Condition : broken and unprofessionally re-glued. This re- glue is easy to open again and this extremely nice and rare piece would it be worth to do a professional repair to it.
A lot of 9 Japanese antique Buddhist temple Lotus leaves and blossoms. Made to be part of a Buddhist altar arrangement. The Lotus represents enlightenment blooming from out of the mud. Carved from wood and lacquered gold. Lotus petals are carved separately and joined. Each fitted with a custom metal stand.

A large 16th Century Ming Dynasty deep dish painted in underglaze blue with grape and vine decoration to the centre and with alternating flowers and buddhist emblems around the rim. The underside is painted with elongated prunus branches under the rim and with stylized peach branches to the inside. The base is unglazed. This item was made in China, probably for export, in the second half of the 16th Century, circa 1550-1600...
