Miniature 18th century Indian bronze shrine for a home altar in a form of a courtyard with generally recognizable figures of Shiva, his wife Parvati, Naga (hooded cobra), and facing them their elephant-headed son Ganesha, another Naga, Nandi the bull of Shiva and Shiva lingam. Very nice simple devotional sculpture with earnest casting and detailing, good patina from being touched during worship, a lot of compressed dust, very pleasant feel of age. Length 15/16 inches.

This is a Qing Dynasty copper coin which reads as Xiangfeng (1851-1861) Zhong Bao. On the reverse it reads as represent ten, which means represent ten cash coin. The coin has soil calicification as shown in light brown as shown in the pgootographs. Generally the coin is in good condition. The diameter of the Xiangfeng Zhong Bao ten cash coin is 3.9cm.

A rare variant of a heavy Hamsa bird bronze opium weight, dating c. 1820-1850.

Weight: 317 grams = 20 Tical.

Interestingly this weight has a finely incised small bird on the front of the base, instead of the usual 6-rayed star. The first ever we've had with this rare mark of value.

A fine lot of two large Hamsa birds, Shan Empire and Arakan, Burma around 1780-1820 AD.

The Hamsas with one spike, standing on hexagonal bases, different styles of heads/beaks and both V-tails. One is probably early Arakan style and lower weight-standard.

Weight: c. 265 grams & 310 grams = 20 tical.

Condition: F-VF, The burma very good condition, the Arakan Near VF, typical high amount of wear for the Arakan types...

Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, and is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions.
