A nice piece of Ming dynasty blue and white bowl of a pair of Foo lion dog chasing after the rattan ball with ribbons. In the center of the bowl, it has a symbol of a swastika in the form of clouds. It stand on a short foot rim with a recess base and then everted upwards. This is a nice piece not to be missed as such good quality bowl are hard to come by

A very rare example of an Antique Japanese iron samurai chest armor (dou) with Fudo Myo-o. Made in the five plate, four hinge go-mai chest armor sendai or yukinoshita style. On the breastplate, Fudo Myo-o, one of the five myo-o or Lords of Light stands with sword in hands, the flames of his nimbus swirling around him as he stands on churning waves. Fudo is a fitting subject for samurai armor as his name means "the unmovable or unshakable one"...

Unusual American Victorian hanging fixture with both shade and font decorated with a log cabin on a lake. I've never seen this one before, and it is a lovely hanging lamp in perfect original condition. The shade measures 13 1/2" in diameter x 7 1/2" high, and the lamp measures 42" from top to bottom.
Each band of this pair of very fine silk embroideries have 2 sets mirror images: one set of floral motif and the other set of a couple celebrating. Both sets use satin stitch, french knot (aka forbidden stitch) and couching embroidery techniques. The embroideries are on a background fabric of fine patterned silk which measures 6" by 15". The floral embroidery is 1.5 x 2" and the couple embroidery is 1.5 x 5"...

Large Japanese antique sumie dragon flying in clouds scroll. Exuberantly painted on silk with lovely splashes of ink. Brown brocade mounting. Good condition. Signed and sealed signed Hōgen Nyosen, one of the names used by Kanō Chikanobu (1660-1728), a leading Kano-school painter of the eighteenth century Edo. (Hōgen means "dharma eye" and Nyosen means "river-like"). Translation reads that he painted it at the age of 67.
