Interesting and beautiful seal made in a very hard high quality shiny mottled green-blue stone. The seal Western Mesopotamia / Levantine 5th-4th. millenium BC.

Interesting archaic desing of the base but note the extremely fine style with multiple crossed lines, which were possible due to choice of stone.

Interesting Ubad-early Uruk stamp seal from Mesopotamia. The seal round with drilling to the back, quite flat and carved with geomethric lines.

A triangular stamp seal with handle, Western Mesopotamia, c. 3rd. millenium BC.

Large for type and with the base engraved with a reclining animal with a branch of tree below and a bull upside down. Carved in a lovely green stone.

Size: 27 x 26 mm. 15 mm. tall.

Condition: Very fine, intact and very attractive, with fine uncleaned earthern deposits.

Interesting and rare depiction of a woman and three men standing side by side on this slightly oval stamp which is probably a stylized scarab form with curved upperside. Carved in green stone with a faint cross on the back. The seal can probably be dating to the 3rd.-early 2nd. millenium BC.

Size: 22 mm x 20 mm. and 11 mm. tall.

Condition: Nice Very fine.

A deeply engraved cylinder seal in beige stone, depicting the 4-winged Pazuzu as the Master of Animals, between winged erect bulls. Neo-Assyrian period, c. 9th.-7th. cent. BC.

Height: 2 cm, ø 1cm.

Trapezoid shape, decorated with a fine style image of Marduk, the main god of the early Neo-Babylonian Empire, standing in front of a complicated structure with podiums and towers, crescent above. Complete with suspension hole through the centre.

Very attractive large stamp seal in finely polished black stone, Uruk period of East Anatolia, c. 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

Round seal with elaborately evolving handle from the back and carved with lovely symethric depiction of loops. Quite unique! Described by the collector as Hittite, but the seal is clearly provincial Uruk style.

Size: 29 mm x 23 mm and 15 mm. tall.

Condition: Extremely fine.

Carved and polished in a beautiful glossy dark green stone and finely engraved with an interesting scene, which looks like mating between two odd animals, the male jumping and the female horned. Above the star symbols of Ashur and crescent Nanna/Sin. A fascinating and exceedingly rare bronze stamp seal of the Hephthalites or the Whine Huns as they're also known. Hunic Empire of the Hindu Kush, 4th.-6th. century AD.

The seal is of an advanced form with a tall handle ending in an oval loop. The plate is oval and engraved with a fine depiction of a parading horse.

Size: 17 x 16 mm.
