An antique Meiji Period two sectional tansu made from kiri wood with iron hardware. The top section has two large drawers. The bottom section has two medium size drawers and on the right side a door with lock. Behind the door are two smaller drawers. And below one small drawer.

It originates from the Yamagata tansu district of Japan in the Tohoku northern Japan region.

Ryusa Manju type ivory netsuke with openwork decoration and in the center a shishi, a Japanese mythological creature representing a lion or a lion dog, looking backwards. The frame around the Shishi features an accurate karakusa 唐草 decoration, a motif of stylized branches and leaves of Chinese origin. Umimatsu cup. Late Edo. 7,5 x 6 x 3 cm Minimally sculpted, this cup as a particularly elegant form, including an handle, mostly coming from the natural form of the Umimatsu (black coral) root. Cannot be exported.

This is a bronze dagger from the Dong Son culture in ancient Southeast Asia. It measures roughly 263 mm and weighs 144 grams. It has a spectacular cuprite crystal patina on one side that I could not capture in the photos. There are also the remnants of a wood scabbard in the patina that should be visible in the photos.This piece has stable metal with a sculpted round handle and slender triangular blade. There are no signs of repair to this wonderful dagger.

Height approximately 26.6 cm. There is a little bit slight different color on the neck. In good condition.

This is a Japanese antique indigo dy sakiori noragi hanten of paper, Hemp, cotton. It is an item from the Edo to Meiji era. This item was made in Sado region of Japan. It is a wonderful sakiori noragi haten, which is woven with very finely twisted indigo dye, hemp yarn and paper twist. The rubbing of the thread due to use has a warm touch. And the indigo dye lumps seem to look into the very beautiful sea. It does not stain or damage...

Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368~1615) 3-color glazed chests (or trunks). Part of the body of each piece shows an iridescent sheen. There are a few chips on both chests. They are 4 ½ inches tall, 5 ¼ inches long and 3 inches wide.
