A very rare and finely cast bronze image of the Daoist goddess “The Mysterious Lady of the Ninth Heaven” (chinese: Jiu Tian Xuan Nu). She is depicted standing on a stylised cloud and holds ritual implements in both hands, a sword in her right hand while the left hand holds a gourd. Remains of cold gilt. China, Ming, 16th century. H 22,5 cm. Condition: Very good, but sward blade broken off and of course with some loss to the cold gilt.

A very rare sample of Yuan dynasty shufu qingbai ewer, this shard is decorated with moulded phoenix ilustration , there is good sample large size of ewer. this shards is very good for studying and comparison to any one who interested in studying early Chinese porcelain.

Chinese Dao Guang period (1821~1850) white porcelain bowl with blue ¡°SHOU¡± (longevity) on the outside and a plain turquoise glaze inside. The orange pattern on the rim has rubbed off slightly. It has been used as a brush washer. There is a Dao Guang seal mark on the bottom. It is 6 inches in diameter and 2 ½ inches tall. Good condition.

Rather unusual 19th century Asakusa school staghorn netsuke of a fly with spread wings on a folded leaf of a lotus plant with stem, root and 2 tiny bulbs by the bottom. For some reason flies are not common in netsuke. Superb design and excellent quality carving - see the elegant shape of the folded leaf with its veins and delicately incised wing patterns of the insect. Massive Japanese Arita porcelain punch bowl decorated in underglaze blue with four alternating dragon and phoenix panels surrounded by a dense background of floral and geometric forms set against a white ground. The center features a treasure ship among kiri (pawlonia) crests, flaming pearls, and patterned balls. The outer wall holds four floral sprays set between bands at the rim and foot.
