This wood carving of a RuYi scepter with hard stone inset is a late 19th or early 20th century product. It is 14” long and 3 ¾” wide from the head of the scepter. It depicts several Lingzhi around an old tree branch. In Chinese mythology, Linzhi is a supernatural mushroom and represents longevity. There is a carved Lingzhi shape hard stone inset on the scepter head. It is in very good condition.

Chinese vase with clay sculpture of a dragon on the top of the vase. The vase is decorated with ancient to old bronze coins from different eras of Chinese history. In the middle, there is an inscription written about the history of Chinese coin minting technology. The calligraphy is titled: Gu Qian Ton Shuo, the story of the ancient coins. The underglaze cobalt blue, rare Phoenix decoration of this quite small porcelain bowl is executed in an nearly Imperial Quality. The cobalt blue is excellent. Ming Dynasty, Jiajing Period ( 1522 - 1566 ) Jingdezhen ware. Diameter : 10,3 cm. Condition : One chip to the inside of the unglazed footring. Further in an very nice condition. Very nice glaze, no crack with a nice " Ping " tone when tapped.

This is Folk art boro Leather haori of the indigo dye rare of the Edo era. The change of the color and a leather wrinkle are very charming. A very nice thinly potted porcelain dish. The underglaze decoration drawn by using a very nice cobalt blue shows a motive that is typical for the Chenghua period. Ming Dynasty, Chenghua period ( 1465 - 1487 ) Jingdezhen ware. Diameter : 13,8 cm. Condition : Actually perfect - there are 2 very minute chips to the rim but these chips are very old resp. most probably from the time when the dish was produced ( please have a look at the last 2 enlargements ) Nice " ping " tone when tapped.

A rare Song Dynasty ( 12th - 13th centuries ) Yaozhou ware bowl with an incised floral decoration to the center of the bowl. Diameter : 12,1 cm. Condition : Perfect with a nice " Ping " tone when tapped. A cheap opportunity to acquire a very rare Yaozhou ware piece.
