Antique Japanese figure of seated Quan yin, made of carved cinnabar lacquer. She is seated on a lotus throne and holds a scroll in her hands. Her robes are carved all over with floral and Buddhist motifs. Her facial expression is serene, befitting her role as goddess of compassion.

Rare Nakamura Donen (1876-1937) Mishima Ware Chawan Bowl with Gold Repair Kintsugi. A Very Rare and Finely Silver Inlaid Iron Incense Burner: Korea, late oseon dynasty, early 20th century. Of hexagonal section mounted on raised bracket feet, the six faces of the body curved and the upright, flat mouth with unusual white brass mouth-rimmed around, and also hexagonal, inlaid in silver on the sides with auspicious characters, happiness and longevity, in medallions within key frets, on the legs with flower scroll and key frets, and two white brass handles in the shape of bats...

Length approximately 11.5 (across the handles). 2 (two) soft dents at the body. In good condition.
