A Japanese Arita lobed dish decorated with a dragon descending from clouds, grasping the pearl of wisdom. The back with a fuku mark. The dish dates from 1750~1790. A similar design to Chinese examples of the Yongzheng period.

Approximately 14.4 cm diameter. Perfect condition.

Chinese Export Porcelain Cafe Au Lait and Blue and White Saucer, Dish, Ca. 1770-1800, 4 1/4" diameter, 7/8" high, underglaze Blue decoration of the river and pagoda scenery inside three(3) separate Cartouches continued with floral branches, large Peony flower in the center round ring. Underneath the top is glazed with cafe Au Lait, coffee color, and white glaze finish inside bottom rim. The condition is good.

The design would appear to be derived from a print of travellers in the Mishima pass, one of the 36 views of Mount Fuji. The reverse painted with a Karakusa arabesque with a single spur mark to the base. The dish dates to the late Edo period and the middle of the 19th century. A Southern Chinese or Vietnamese bowl, covered all-over with a pale celadon glaze. This bowl dates to the C14-15th; or before. Quite delicately potted; gently rising from it's low, unglazed, foot to a slightly everted rim. Diameter; 13.5 cm. Condition; In presentable condition wih nice glaze qulaity, there are a couple of small nibble to the underside of the rim, and also the the foot. More photos are available upon request.
