This is a Japanese antique indigo dye cotton Boro noragi old Farmclothes Thick of patched and sashiko stitch Meiji (1868-1912). It was repaired many times, and the boro rag that were used became wonderful folk art by themselves. The patchwork & sashiko stitch of the indigo dye cotton for the repaired is very beautiful. A fairly large lacquer chest with two original handles and lock. It has a removable tray inside. Size: L. 43.3cm. W. 24.7cm. H. 21cm. Condition: Very good. No repairs.

On a slightly cracked celadon cover, it has 4 loops at the shoulder. Rare shape, the body of the vase seems to be placed on a cup. It bears a signature close to its base of Yu Hegan (1894 - 1993). Very pretty vase in perfect condition from the early 20th century. H 25 x D14 cm.

Individual wooden table with such unique decorative carving made in Haeju (around Pyongyang of today) in Korean Peninsula, early 20th century, approx. 43 x 32.8 x H 27cm (16.92 x 12.91 x 10.62in). A very rare jadeite pendent with an ancient gold repair on BOTH SIDES of the pendant. The drilled hole also has a gold tube inserted in it. From southern China which is now Southeast Asia. Size: 2.1cm x 1.7cm.

This is a Japanese antique Edo Period of habutae-silk kaga-noren of Mount Fuji and the seaside landscape(miho no matubara). High quality hand-yuzen dyed Kaga Noren. Antique Chinese brocade with dragons in roundels between auspicious symbols and an open-worked white jade plaque, dating from the 19th century, assembled to a diary with mechanical pencil. This material was the highest quality item for children in the late Edo period. The finest materials are used by skilled craftsmen to draw the finest lines, which are extremely sharp and delicate.
