This Japanese walrus tusk carving of a young maiden is a late-19th century or early 20th century product. It is 7 ¼” high (8 7/8” high with wood base) and 2 ¾” wide. It depicts a young maiden holding a long necked vase in one hand and a long stemmed flower in her other hand. There is a tall stand beside her with an incense burner. The statue is permanently mounted on the carved wood base. It is in great condition.

This nicely executed silver alloy tea pot is a late-19th century product. It is 8” high (9 ½” high with handle extended) and 9” wide at the spout. The body is 6 ¼” wide. The famous 8 immortals and their symbols appear over the entire hexagonal body and cover. The spout is the shape of a mythical animal, PiXie. The knob on the cover of the teapot is a seated PiXie. There is an honorable mark “Great Qing Qian Long” stamped on the bottom. It is in great condition.

This very well carved and designed carved bamboo root brush washer is an early-20th century product. It is 1 7/8” high and 5 7/8” wide (measured from the widest part). It depicts old pine trees with a crane resting on one of the limbs. According to Chinese tradition, pine trees and cranes represent longevity. It is in great condition.

Chinese Export Canton pattern Blue and White Porcelain Leaf shape Sauce/Gravy Boat, Ca. 1840's 1 1/2" high, 7 1/4" long with handle, 3 3/4" wide-maximum measurement. Underglaze blue design of typical Canton pattern, Chinese Pavilions on the river bank, a man with umbrella is walking on the bridge. There are several frits and chips on the rim area.

The subtle pair of Japanese bronze vases with the detailed work done of motifs of lotuses, herons, and carp fascinate the eyes. The gold metal are arranged to show the changes in color of the lotus leaves and to bring forth the beauty of the lotus blossoms. Work is signed by Miyabe Atsuyoshi who was active during the Meiji period and paved the way for contemporary Takaoka Bronze. Age: Meiji Period Size: Height: 5" Diameter: 2.75"

Chinese Export Fitzhugh pattern Blue and White Porcelain oval shape covered Vegetable serving Dish with original cover, Ca. 1790-1800, 4 1/2" high, up to the top of the Acorn shape knob, 11 3/4" x 8 5/8" wide. This is early Fitzhugh porcelain with very fine and delicately decorated Chrysanthemums and Peony sprigs in four(4) sections within diapers and spearheads border which is done with very exact and fine brush strokes in underglaze blue. A very rare small box, made of embossed brass, lavishly decorated with various designs on its lid and body. On the lower part of its body the design is a series of "niches" containing effigies of deities and also the portrait in profile of an important person, probably a king. Superb dark-green and reddish patina. Tibetan characters beneath. Tibet, 17th century. Height: 3 3/8" (8,7 cm). il. Superbe patine.

This is a design for a kimono with a leafing vine surrounding a lacquer calligraphy box with inkstone and brushes in tones of grays and black with only the calligraphy brushes having red and yellow handles. The grain of the woodblock shows through the background of the kimono. Printed on mulberry paper and probably a leaf from a design album. This is a design for a kimono textile that has skillfully incorporated the stylized woven fabric texture as part of the design as seen in the central field of flowering iris plants. The upper field appears to be a design of snowflakes, and the lower of an abstract water pattern. This was probably a leaf from an album of kimono designs...

Large green glazed Shiwan pottery teapot in the shape of a water bucket with a pour spout, small lid, and carrying handle. In very good condition save for a tiny flea bite on the spout, it measures about 10.5” high (to top of handle) x 9" diameter (10” across including spout). Dates circa 1885.

Chinese Porcelain turquoise color man Figure sitting on the rock, 3" high, 2 3/4" wide, 1 1/2" deep, made before 1920's. His nose and one(1) foot got stuck during firing in the kiln, when this figure was removed from the other object, he lost his side of nose and one(1) foot. Impressed mark "China" on the unglazed bottom.

Chinese Green and yellow glazed Pottery Figure, two(2) men with large fish , 7" high, 3" wide, 3" deep, 3 1/4" diameter-bottom. There are some glaze chips and tight glaze hairline about 2" long around back side of the neck of the standing man behind.

Chinese porcelain teapot with a ribbed body. A lovely scene depicting daily garden life with men and women surround the body. A bat hovers over symbolizing good fortune. There is some expected age related wear to the gold, but otherwise in good condition, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines, it measures 5" high x 5" diameter (7" across if including the spout). Circa 1900.
