Interesting Arita Imari bowl, late Edo with scalloped rim and panels with reserves of flowers and figural scenes of an elderly teacher (?) surrounded by pupils, the reserves contoured in raised overglaze black. Brocade or diaper patterns in green, red, blue and gilt surrounding a stylized turtle in underglaze blue. The exterior shows three Buddhist symbols repeated three times in underglaze blue, red enamels and gilt. Bull’s eye base and a green-glazed Uzu-Fuku mark...

Wood carving decoration with the remains of original bule paint as the actual fragment of a certain Japanese temple/shrine construction, Edo-Meiji period, 19th century, approx. 58 x 30 x 6.5cm (22.83 x 11.81 x 2.55in)...
Diameter approximately 13 cm. There are some cracked parts. The base part is damaged, missing a bit. No fix. Flat color. Almost perfect shape.
Antique Japanese kannon biraki tansu. Single section with hinged doors which open to reveal 4 interior drawers; two large and two small. Made all of kiri (paulownia) wood with iron hardware. The large, round lock plate and cross bracing are classical aspects of this type of chest. Used for storing clothing and outfitted with handles for carrying.

Small gilt copper pot, decorated with flowers in cloisonné enamel. No artist signature but excellent quality. Small precious object Height: 6cm Diameter: 8cm. Good condition. Japon Taisho period.
Nabeshima hard porcelain dish. Okawachi kilns. Decoration in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze enamels. Although the model already exists at the beginning of the 18th century, we do not believe that the dish presented here is authentic. The enamels are perfect, one can distinguish with a magnifying glass discreet wear of use and the enamels show age cracks, but the cobalt blue on the reverse is too pale. It is not a modern copy, as it has been in the Sakura collection for about forty years...

Antique Japanese pair of armor boxes. Made of kiri (paulownia) wood and lacquered a deep reddish orange color with black details. Iron hardware including carrying handles. The crest is that of two crossing hawk feathers (Takanoha), possibly the crest of the Abe Clan. The Abe Clan (安倍氏, Abe-shi) was a samurai family that was close to the Tokugawa shogunate.

A very Rare example of a Han dynasty Chinese large tomb pottery figure of a horse, gray clay with traces of white and red slip pigment, tail and ears are separate pieces, wonderful example of Han Dynasty tomb sculpture with very stylized geometric shaped features, great whimsical expression with open mouth.
Comes with TL (thermal luminescence) test dating to Han Dynasty 206 B.C. -220 A.D...
