This porcelain plate was produced in St. Petersburg, Russia, at the Imperial Porcelain Factory in 1889. It is marked with that year and the symbol of Nicholas I. The service was produced for Empress Alexandra Feoderovna and was called the Alexandrinsky Service. The plate is 8 ¾ inches in diameter. It is fashioned in the Sevres style. It is hand painted in overglaze polychrome painting. The hand gilding is raised and elaborate. The colors are vibrant and all of the gilding is intact...

A charming and simple creamer, very probably Longton Hall porcelain and painted by the Trembly Rose painter. There is a museum accession number on the base.

The condition is very good, with no cracks, chips, or paint loss to speak of. There is a tiny, tight clay split at the juncture of the spout and the body, truly of no importance. The height is 3 3/8".

A good quality Japanese vase and cover decorated with scrolling Octopus-vine patterns almost entirely covering the body of the vase and cover. Probably Arita in origin. The vase dates to the early 19th Century and the late Edo period. The vase stands 26cm high, including the cover, and has a diameter of 15cm. The foot-ring measures 8cm. The vase weighs 1445 grams in total. The condition is good no cracks, chips or restoration to the body. There is a crack to the rim of the cover (see images)...

Late 189th century Indian bronze votive plaque depicting Khandoba (a form of Shiva worshipped in Western India) mounted on a horse with his wife Mhalsa in his lap, and a dog following the horse. Khandoba holds various implements in his upper hands and a short sword in his left lower hand. Two round holes with raised lips on top probably signify the sun and the moon. Nice quality casting for that type of plaques, beautiful patina, the front is graciously worn from 200 years of worship...

Unusual 18th/19th century small votive Indian bronze sculpture of Nandi - the vehicle of Shiva, or sometimes considered to be a form of Shiva himself. It rests in its usual position wearing rich trappings surrounded by numerous offerings. Very neat casting and detailing, great patina, compressed dust in crevices and traces of sandalwood paste used during worship, bottom is covered with red paste. Very good devotional object, wonderful feel of age to the piece. Length 1 3/8 inches.

A beautiful and rare excavated 17th Century Burmese Bronze Ganesh holding 4 objects in his hands and with a cobra snake hanging from his right shoulder and encircling his torso and back. The Ganesha is wearing a beautifully adorned garment around his waist. Naturally formed patina and some soil remnants are present. Excellent condition as well preserved in the earth cache. The carved overlay glass snuff bottle is an early 20th century product. The red over clear glass snuff bottle is 2 ¾” high, 1 5/8” wide and 3/4” thick. Both sides have the same design which depicts a blossom tree. It has a light carnelian cap which is a later replacement. It is in great condition.
