A fine large cylinder seal of the early Jemdet Nasr barrel shaped design, Mesopotamia, 3300-2900 BC. The seal is carved in a hard and dense material either a marple type or perhaps shell (?).

Ancient Greek Cypriot bronze tanged dagger or spear blade from the Bronze Age, dating back to circa 2500-1600 B.C. This pair of Guang Xu Period (1875~1908) Guan Yao ¡°Imperial Kiln¡± fruit stands are 2 ¾ inches tall and 9 ¼ inches in diameter. They depict black and white sparrow and flowers on a turquoise background. They have three separate floral designs on the back of the stands and a black lace like design on the foot. There are a few tiny chips on the rims and the color has slightly rubbed off. Four old repairs close to the rim two on each stand.

Enoch Wood historical Staffordshire dark blue transfer plate, Moulin sur la Marne a Charenton, from the French series. Circa 1825. Pearlware with grapevine border and with pottery's impressed WOOD mark and underglaze blue pattern name. Size: 9 1/8" diameter. Late Meiji (1900s) Japanese ceramic chawan (tea bowl) for tea ceremony decorated with what appears to be dumbbell shaped percussion instruments. Dark brown stoneware body, beautiful Satsuma type glaze with wonderful fine crackling, multicolored enamels with gold. Excellent free potting, wonderful sense of energy to the piece, great object in Japanese taste, in perfect condition. Stamped with a potter’s seal in unglazed area by the foot. Diameter 3 1/2 inches, height 3 1/2 inches.
