Young woman's katabira (unlined kimono made of asa, hemp or ramie) with long sleeves. It is made of Echigo-chijimi, which was woven in Echigo region, now Niigata prefecture. It is handwoven of choma (ramie) whose wefts and warps are hand-plied, and the surface has light shrinkage from twisted warps and wefts. It has hand-painted flower motifs. The lining of collar cloth is thin silk, probably dyed with benibana (safflower). In excellent condition, no hole or no stain. 19th century...

Japanese light Kiri and Cedar Wood two(2) section Tansu, chest on chest with original light color wood and hardware, Ca. 1940, 42" high, 36" wide, 16" deep, two(2) long drawers in upper section above one(1) short drawer next to two(2) small drawers on the right in lower level. All drawers have heavy ornate back plate and heavy black iron handles, the condition is good, original condition, all the black iron works are solid and heavy.

A pair of bronze mirrors was intriguingly set into one piece.
As in a hidden look, the erotic motifs were only revealed when turning over the bronze plates.
They were well cast in solid form and were preserved in a latter-lade linen wood box.

Modeled in the Chinese style, this baluster vase is fitted with elephant head handles on the neck and is decorated in three registers, the largest of which displays four dragons in low-relief over a diamond diaper ground. Various floral and bird designs decorate the lower registers. Extensive verdigris covers the surface as well as the interior and the base as a result of use as a garden ornament. There are no damages or repairs.

Antique 19th century, solid silver fork in Baroque style adorned with Lithuanian heraldic coat of arms Pahonia-Vytis.

The fork has 3 shaped tines and an elaborately designed stem topped with a finial depicting a woman's bust in classical style. This woman represents allegorically Poland, holding the crown of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and backed by a laurel wreath.

A sweetmeat dish consisting of 1 central hexagonal dish surrounded by 6 fan-shaped dishes. Each dish has a straight side and is decorated in the center with one of the seven gods of good fortune, shichifukujin in overglaze enamels and gold on cream colored stoneware. The central dish holds the image of the only female member of the shichifukujin: Benzaiten.

Chinese Tang dynasty Changsha bowl. Diamater 12.3 cm Height 4 cm. Bowl in good condition except a crack glaze erosion. Free from any restorations or repainted.

Circa 1900, Chinese export enamel trough planter with floral scenes in rock garden on a custom wood stand. The glaze on the exterior ground is a lovely pale turquoise, while the interior is a darker contrasting turquoise. The rim features fret key pattern in a vibrant translucent royal blue and the metal trim is silver which has darkened over time. In excellent condition, the planter measures 8" long, 5.5" wide, and 2.5" high. On stand measures just under 3.5".

A fine root wood figure depicting an aged Daoist Immortal, holding a ruyi scepter in one hand and standing on a high rock surrounded by waves in an imaginary sea . The head of the Immortal is partly carved while the body and partly the stand are naturally shaped. Made of two parts fixed together. Ming Dynasty, 17th cent. H. 20,5 cm. This remarkable artifact is an ancient bronze short sword or dagger blade, originating from the Holy Land during the Bronze Age (1500-1200 B.C.). Antique Japanese carved bamboo kakehana, wall vase for flowers. This section of bamboo has been carved with the figure of Quanyin (Kannon). The Goddess of Mercy is seen floating amidst storm clouds, ribbons of lightening streaking across the sky around her. There is a small rectangular hole in the back of the vase so it can hang from a hook or nail in the wall.
