Unusual Khmer stylized Bronze Lion Head, post Bayon Angkor Wat, 12/13th Century, backside has small loop, probably top/handle of utensil, spear, flag or tool. Good condition, nice natural patina. Mounted. Size H. 6 cm x W. 5 cm x D. 4 cm

Thai 14th-15th Century Sawankhalok, Ayutthaya period, glazed ovoid shaped bottle flanked by two small ring ear handles at shoulder, and glazed in olive green celadon tones with horizontal linear markings. Nice shiny gloss to glaze falls short of base. Note slight chipping of glaze on one side. Height is 5 inches.

Rare pair of foxes that guard a Inari shrine. One holding a jewel in the mouth, the other a key. Each squatting on a little pedestal. Earthenware with mineral color pigments red, blue, white and black. Japan, Edo period, 19th century.

A Long Quan Celadon bowl Ming Dynasty. Diameter approximately 14.5 cm, height 7 cm. Covered with even green tone and crackle glaze. Center with floral carved, the exterior freely carved with stylised foliate scrolls. Few small glazes lost on the rim. Good condition.

It is 11 inches (28 cm) tall by 10 inches (25.4 cm) wide. It is 10.2 Lb.

It has chips at the flowers buds, tips of the buddha's hands, pitting, cracks, small holes, oxidation, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Early Showa period (1910s) Japanese mingei (Arts and Crafts) shallow copper box with enameled decoration of a spray of aoi (hollyhock) leaves with tendrils. Wonderful combination of uchidashi (hammered-out) and moriage (piled-up) techniques : metal was raised from the opposite side and raised surface was subsequently thickly enameled and fired. Beautiful work, cleverly textured surface, excellent patina, in perfect condition. Enameled green on the inside...
