Japanese antique small Ko Tansu (personal chest) made all of kiri (paulownia) wood with black lacquered iron hardware. This small chest has 4 drawers and 1 small door with 2 hidden drawers. The hardware is all made of blackened iron and includes 4 round drawer pulls, 5 locks and 2 side handles.

A refined antique Chinese painting done in a style similar to Western style paintings. These paintings were thought to be done in the Canton Concessions in Guangzhou during the late 19th century. A beautiful Chinese silk rug (6' x 9'); the yellow field bearing a central medallion of a front-facing dragon with four side-facing dragons in each corner, all on a stylized linked flower head ground, the border with stylized lotus, peony and other flowers of good fortune.

A large heavy okimono of a striding elephant. The bronze elephant has a finely chased hide and it's original ivory tusks. The elephant measures about 19" long x 19" high, and weighs about 23.8 pounds.
There is a maker's mark cut out on the belly of the beast which reads "Watanambe Made", and the patina overall is even and perfect. The elephant was made during the Meiji period, ie: late 19th Century, and the condition is perfect. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

An unusual moulded dish decorated with swirling ribbon like Shonsui brocades alternating with depictions of the Shochikubai. The central Mikomi decorated with a floral motif of two stylised flowers surrounded by a broad band of alternating cartouches in kakiwake style with auspicious objects, Chinese and Japanese Fans and a Whisk, and Cranes.
The dish has a fuchi beni, iron brown glazed rim with no pattern to the reverse...
