Historical Masterpiece - Early Edo (17c) Ko-Seto Chawan made by Kato Kagemasa (?-1659) with the old cloth and the wooden box of the period.
Kagemasa Kato was the 16th head of the Seto kiln family, counting from the 1st Kagemasa Kato (1168 - 1249), the legendary founder of Seto ware.

Japanese Dragon design Cast Black Iron Tetsubin, Teapot, this kettle is supported with three(3) small feet, with twisted iron handle, and Pewter top, Meiji period, 1880's, 9" high include handle up, 9 1/2" wide include the spout, rust inside the tea pot, with twisted handle and impressed design of vines on the Pewter top cover, raised Dragon is flying among the clouds. The tip of spout is brokwn off and repaired(small piece of broken piece is saved inside the kettle).

This wonderfully-shaped pottery jar was made during the early part of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8), or possibly the preceding Qin Dynasty (221 - 206 BC). A Chinese jadeite cigarette holder that has been fashioned into a pendant, with a gold band around the body and gold flower shaped plates on both ends. The white jade has luminescent apple green areas and natural tan veining towards the top.

Sutra book clasp cast in the shape of an H, with a Tibetan "dorje" (or "vajra") placed horizontally at its center. Square opening at top and bottom for attachment. Bronze, with partly encrusted greenish patina. Tibet, 17th century, maybe earlier. Height: 1 5/8" (4,2 cm). The piece is nicely mounted on a custom wood stand. Erosion due to great age, otherwise good condition. Note: such implement was used to lock the straps that kept a "sutra" book (a book containing Buddhist texts) closed.
Chinese Yuan dynasty flattened rounded form twin-handled moon flask covered in an amber-brown glaze, each face with moulded relief figural decoration possibly depicting dancers and musicians. The high foot with unglazed, recessed base has two typical pierced holes. The shape was derived from flasks carried along the Silk Road by West Asian merchants. Pair of Japanese sliding door handles. They are made of a copper alloy finely chiseled with scrolls and stylized flowers on a nanako background, alternately there are shakudo plates (an alloy of copper and gold, shibuichi or silvered sentoku. They are excessively heavy and of the best quality. The size is much larger than for a normal door handle (double in size) which implies very high and wide doors. It is not a usual rich house that can accommodate doors of this size...
Late 18th to early 19th century bronze suigaraake (ashtray) netsuke in a modified hexagonal drum shape, its outside cast with a sinuous water dragon chasing a Precious Gem.
