A large and very impressive tomb pottery horseman, Chinese, 1368-1644 AD. The type has been thoroughly tested and was burnt approx 500 years ago, placing it in the mid Ming period, c. early-mid 16th. century.

The pottery horseman, a higher-ranking officer, was probably originally equipped with a standard of wood, that has now decayed. He is clad in body armor in blue and torquise and wears a cone- shaped helmet...

Chinese antique nephrite jade bowl with worn gilt design of maiden and children at play in garden on side, bottom has scrolling vine and imperial mark in cartouche. Old restoration stabilizing crack to body.

A Song/Yuan Celadon Twin Fish Dish. Diameter approximately 21.8 cm and height approximately 4.8 cm. Few crackles glaze in the dish and an 8 mm hairline at the rim. White lights in the photos are reflection of camera flash. Good almost perfectly even color in good condition and free of restoration.

Ca. early 1800s

This porcelain dish is in the shape of an abalone shell with underglaze blue and overglaze enamel decoration. It is raised on a low footring with an underglaze blue four character mark reading, “Made in the Great Ming.” There is minor glaze wear to the interior and minor firing flaws. There are no cracks or restorations.

Carved of keyaki (zelkova elm) wood with wonderful details including characteristic swirling fur and wide, toothy jaws, this fu dog is a powerful Shinto temple guardian. Wide eyes are made of reverse-painted glass with irises of two different colors and with pupils of varying width, adding an intensity to his expression...

A fine quality five colour Arita shallow saucer dish decorated with Cherry branches and storm waves, arashi-nami, awash with fallen rafts of cherry blossom. Presumably the design is a play on the words nami, wave, and hannami, cherry viewing, and the design derived from a contemporary or earlier textile pattern. The reverse of the dish simply decorated with cherry blossom. Dating early Eighteenth century, circa 1700-20. The dish is in good condition with no cracks chips or restoration...

An exceptional and quite substantial bronze belthook, Chinese, dating to the Eastern Zhou dynasty - Warring States period (475–221 B.C.).

The gilt bronze surface cast as a feline mask embellished with twisted sashes heightened with raised commas enclosing a circular plaque; a long post terminating in a dragon's head hook. The front with fine gilt preserved in the devices, reverse with circular form knop.

Radiant antique Chinese document box, made of huanghuali hard wood with gorgeous grain, hinged top lid opens to shallow compartment with removable tray, two doors open to reveal 4 small drawers, beautiful details throughout. The outside is adorned with thick bronze fixtures and side handles. 19th century. Size: 14" high x 13.5" wide x 10.25" deep.

Antique Japanese keyaki (elm) wood single section isho tansu (clothing chest). Made with keyaki wood burl on the front. Two large exterior drawers and a safe box in the lower right hand side with 2 small interior drawers. Iron hardware with warabite shaped drawer pulls and round foliate lock plates.

Miniature altar dedicated to Hindu Goddess Annapurna. The goddess is shown sitting cross-legged on a lotus throne, holding her ritual spoon on her lap, and backed by an aureola.
