Chinese Blackwood and Natural mottled gray Marble top Round Stool/table, later part of 1800's, 18" high, 13" diameter on top, with carved side apron and curved legs are connected with stretchers on the lower part of the legs. Some wood joints are separated from the dryness over the years, no nails were used. This is heavy and solid piece of furniture.

An extremely cute pair of ceramic sculptures of two young Chinese children peeking over a balcony. The pair of children appear to be fragments of an old roof tile, and each one is set upon a wooden stand. The modeling of the children is exceptional, especially the character in their faces. This is a superb Chinese yixing teapot handcrafted in the late 19th century. The teapot has a light brown & greenish moth clay patina. Interestingly the base of the lid has a the same light brown clay patina but the top color has a greenish moth patina...

DESCRIPTION: A Japanese Sumida vase with oval neck rim covered in a rich, thick flambé glaze running midway down the vase. A high relief figure of a man balanced on a rocky ledge, holding an umbrella, is contrasted against the red, ribbed body of the vase. Excellent condition with no chips. Chinese large yixing zisha teapot with silver decorations. 23 cm wide from spout to handle. 16 cm body diameter. 10 cm high. Teapot has few small chipped at inside the lid, no crack.

Chinese pair of fu dog temple guardians, carved hardwood with old remnants of blue, red, and white pigments. Each fu dog is formed with intricate detail and expression, one with a pearl in its partially open mouth. Mounted on steel plates for museum quality presentation.

This Chinese carved bamboo brush rest has traditional dragons chasing pearl and cloud motif. The background shape is the 5 mountains and the rim of the mountains have carved ridges. The piece measures 3.5 inches high and 6 inches across. The natural curve of the bamboo allows the piece to stay upright, and the piece remains balanced on the 1/2 inch thick bamboo. Condition is very good.
