Simple elegance is how we describe this late 19th C. turquoise Noya ware bowl. Good and strong vibrant colors of flowers with auspicious symbols, this bowl has very little wear and is in excellent shape without any chips, cracks, hairlines, and free from any restoration. It measures 10.5 inches long, 7.5 wide and 2" high.
This very well carved white jade (nephrite) Lohan (Arhat) is an early 20th century product. It depicts a Lohan sitting on a rock, his left hand holds a wood stick he is using to clean his ear; his right arm is resting on the rock. The impression on his face is just interesting and realistic. It is 6 ¼” high, 5 ¾” wide and 3 ½” thick. Aside from natural blemishes, it is in great condition.

A metal alloyed Monk figure was heavily cast.
By well carved flouring lines on the robe, the deity was in serene mood in meditation posture.
It was preserved in very good condition with darken patina, rust surface.
A similar porcelain Ding piece of Song Dynasty can be a counterpart in the last picture.
Date: Song/Yuan periods, 12th/13th Centuries.

This rare 19th Century Bunraku Puppet of Osome, and rare scroll painting of Osome came
from a private collection of theater art in Japan. The puppet is a heroine in the play, Shinpan Utazaimon Nozakimura
no Dan (Osome Hisamatsu). It is made of wood and covered with many layers of gofun (crushed
oyster shell), with painted features, dressed in a sumptuous brocade silk
kimono and obi. Her head moves up and down, and from side to side. Bamboo stand is included...
This set of four Guang Xu Period (1875~1908) Mille Fleurs (thousand flowers) dishes are ¾ inch tall and 6 ½ inches in diameter. Hundreds of different kinds of flowers cover them all. The workmanship is superb and precise. The gold trim on the rims has slightly rubbed off. They are in great condition.
