Lace collar, probably linen. Was offered for sale in 1908 in London by the Windsor auction house, appraised by a certain Mr Knox as being a rose point lace, Venetian work from middle 17th century or a later French copy from the period of the reign of Louis XIV. The lace is kept in a wall display frame, it is placed on a Chinese silk background with secret embroidery, visible only in raking light. On the back of the frame is stuck the original of the expertise...

Antique marquise shaped 18K gold and chrysoberyl ring is an excellent example of Portuguese jewelry of the late 18th century. The Portuguese mined these gemstones from their colony in Brazil and created jewelry that was typically pave-set as seen here. The ring is size 10 and can be sized to fit.

A pair woman's Paduka in fish form, made of hardwood and inlaid with brass wire. Base inscribed "Hindu bath sandals" and "Anna Broadwood". Antique Bronze hand of Buddha from Thailand. The hand itself holds different meanings, depending on how it is being gestured. Fingers up and palm facing outwards means fearlessness and protection, fingers down and palm outwards means gift giving or bestowal, and fingers down and palm inwards is the gesture of earth witness, which Buddha is said to have been made during his Enlightenment. 18/19th Century Chinese gilt lacquered wood carving of a seated immortal temple statue. There is some rubbing of gilding, chips, peeling of lacquer, stains, cracks, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos). Worth noting is the well rendered facial expression, the hair is still intact in the ears and mustache, and the details in the clothing. Measures 9 inches high.

Very large tile in the shape of (and virtually in the size of) a handscroll decorated in underglaze blue with a crashing wave and a full moon. The image is surrounded by borders of geometric flowers and medallions filled with a phoenix. Some of the phoenixes looks left, others look right. Medallions colored in underglaze pink and yellow.
