Chinese Soapstone figure of Pu Tai, well carved on a wooden stand. The stone of warm pale brown colour, fading towards the base, darker on the back. With a deep glossy patina. 19thC. Ht.2 3/4" (7.0cm), L.3 3/8" (8.6cm), excluding stand. Condition: there is a flake 1 3/4" at the rear of the base, which from the wear could be contemporary with the carving. Otherwise excellent.

A good ruby red Peking (Beijing) glass bowl. The base carries the four character seal mark of the Qianlong Emperor and this item was made during his reign (1736-1795). Condition - good there are small chips to the rim and there is age related wear to the foot rim consistent with an 18th Century attribution...

A very rare scroll weight resp. paper weight made from glass and painted with a very pleasing romantic landscape . This painting is done in a typical Qianlong manner on a opaque white glaze and is covered with a thick layer of transparent glaze. Qianlong Period ( 1736 - 1795 ) On the back side of the piece is something like a very small signature which can be seen on the last enlargement. L : 17,5 cm. B : 3,3 cm. H : 1,2 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A beautiful 19th C. Chinese cobalt blue peking glass rosary beads. It has 90pcs beads, each bead size is average 1.7cm about 5' long in excellent condition. But you need restring them.

A very rare sample of Yuan dynasty over glaze enamel bowl, rounded side with out turned rim and unglazed base, bowl decorated with red and green over glaze enamel, flower motif at the exterior, inner rim with classic scroll and center with flower spray motif, bowl excavated from Trowulan east java.
Bowl has been broken into several pieces and re-attach as seen at picture, a very rare sample of early over glaze enamel motif.
Size: 12 cm diameter, 6.5 cm diameter.

Right side of a carved wooden architectural panels that were once used in a temple. The panels are carved with a pair of smiling figures set near a tree. The panel may have been placed under the corner eaves of the roof above the pillars. Elaborate carvings became popular during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) various motifs and designs were created often seen in Taoist and Confucian temple architecture. A large and very rare lead glazed earthenware roof ridge tile sculpture depicting a civil official riding a celestial horse with flaring nostrils,bulging eyes and flowing mane. This item was made in Shanxi province, northern China, during the Ming dynasty (1368 - 1644).
