Description: A black-glazed, narrowed-neck bottle vase was squeezed and applied on shoulder with four small looped handles.
Well applied on the surface with dark glaze which was in greasy feel and was yielded with immensely spread crackles due to age, it was sat on a flat bottom from which the grayish white-tinted body clay was revealed.

Date: Southern Dynasty南朝, 5th-6th century.

Chinese Export Porcelain flower pedal shape and Scalloped edge Tea Bowl and Saucer, Ca. Kangxi, 1720, 4 3/8" diameter and 7/8" high-saucer, 2 3/4" diameter and 1 7/8" high-tea bowl, with underglaze blue Leaf mark in blue double circle on the bottom, overglaze red of floral and long leaves design with soft gold touch within scalloped edge rim for the tea bowl and saucer. Some tiny frits around the raised rim area.

Very unusual largeJapanese rope embroidery on silk, the image is a pair of phoenixes, male and female, with the moon waxing and waning (full and crest). This is a privileged image made specially for the court. The pagoda shrine is central to the image centered around the imperial Tokugawa crest symbolizing the divine rule from heaven.

Tall late 18th to early 19th century wooden netsuke of a standing emaciated sennin wearing a tattered robe and leaf skirt and cape and holding onto a very long staff with gnarled top. Awesome face, wonderful knobby scull, beautiful rendition of his hair, ribs and limbs. Wood is lacquered in Negoro style - gold lacquer over red, so as the netsuke wears the color of a lower layer starts showing.
