A Yuan dynasty (1277-1367) ewer with wide splayed mouth and incised handle set opposite the sprout applied with black and brownish glaze falling short of the foot.

Only minor abrasion, no chip, crack, repair or restoration. The ewer is In good condition.

The measurement of the Yuan dynasty ewer: Height is 15cm, length from mouth tip to handle is 14cm.

Antique Chinese large monochrome porcelain vase, glazed in black with reddish brown undertones seen more prominently towards the lip of the rim, slightly ribbed body with a single ridge in the very center of the neck. 18th century Size: 21.5" H x 9" W

Rare water-pot,dropper? (too little for wine and not covered for tea) for schollar in Sancai enameled porcelain, Kangxi period. Fruit-shaped, appears to be a pomegranate, with stem leaves and flower. The flower is admirably made with thin petals like paper which is daring, miraculously none is missing, however, looking with a magnifying glass we can see on the edges of small gaps that we can guess or imagine on photo but it is not obvious because the petals are naturally jagged...

Joli petit okimono en bois sculpté en forme d'enfant jouant du tambour. Sa robe est finement incrustée de motif de fleurs stylisées de différent matériaux, argent, os teinté, corne ou ébène et nacre. Dessous 2 caractères gravés sur une tablette de nacre indiquent le nom de l'artiste qui est certainement célèbre au regard de la qualité de l'oeuvre. Il manque quelques perles et les baguettes de tambours, mais celà ne nuit point à l'équilibre de la sculpture...

This Lohan stands with his robes open and his arms crossed, a hole drilled through his hands to hold something, perhaps a staff or a candle. A fabulous cabinet covered in polished black lacquer inlayed with mother of pearl designs in the style of Nagasaki containing various boxes, trays and dishes for an outing. To allow any steam to escape, it has windows which were once lined with silk. Brass hardware secures the hinged doors which swing out with small boxes and trays in one side, a square sake bottle with brass spout encased in a wooden stand on the other...

Ko-sometsuke porcelain was produced specifically for the Japanese market during the final decades of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). A small Japanese porcelain plate glazed with 3 images of a person on an island, a row boat and mountain.

Japanese ceramic oribe enamel chawan, or tea ceremony bowl. The bowl is squared with thick "dripping" oribe green/blue glaze down around its mouth. The foot is flat and recessed.

Pair of Greyhounds in tilework covered with green glaze.The sculptures are beautiful, the dogs are well represented, very expressive. The position is elegant. The first is in good condition, the second has a broken tail. Long: 17cm (6.7 inches) In my opinion it's a chinese work, the look and the eyes seem to me the work of a Chinese artist and not a European one,clay too. I think it's from Qing period, probably Kangxi. It's too elegant to be Ming.

Antique 16th - 17th century Mughal Indian cast bronze bottle-shaped wine vessel from north India. The rounded body with diagonal ribs, is sitting on a trumpet footing with incised rings; the tapering neck is decorated with stylized petal lappets design and horizontal ribs. This type of vessel was used for rice wine that it was served during weddings and other profane or religious ceremonies.

Antique Japanese hanging scroll of a Geisha opening a lacquered box. The geisha's hair is worn in a traditional updo with hair pins. She wears robes that are beautifully patterned as she opens a lacquered box. The scroll is signed in the upper left. It measures overall: 7.75" wide by 81" long, image: 6.5" by 51".

An antique Japanese Jingasa with gradual domed top with black Urushi and a raised lacquer design of a flying dragon surrounding the top. Underside is red Urushi. Family crest in gold on top and bottom of helmet. Bronze ring Tama Buchi. Worn by the samurai class in feudal Japan, as well as their retainers and foot soldiers.

Age: Edo Period (1603-1867)
