Wonderful and complete sculpture of Padmavati, a Hindu goddess who is worshipped as an aspect of the goddess Lakshmi, but who also plays an important role in Jainisme as the protecting goddess of the 23rd Tirthankara. Five Dynasties Yue "MISE" bowl decorated with incised flower motive at the center. Bowl has a crack at center rimand glaze degradations. Free from any restorations. 17,5cm diameter.
Ming blue and white large dish decorated with fine under glaze blue of scenery river boat mountains pagoda and house motif at the center, inner rim with nine white stork at the pond, outer wall with three squirrels in the three branches of fruit trees. 34,5cm diameter. Dish has fourhairlines at the rim and fritting glaze at the rim. Free from restorations.
Ming blue and white small bowl decorated with fish at the center and tibetan character as the rim border. Flower motive at the back of the wall. 12 cm diameter. Bowl has one crack.
An export blue and white plate decorated with a bird and floral patterns. Kangxi period (1662-1722). Marked with an Artemisia leaf. Diameter 27 cm. The silver handle was added in 1854 by the wellknown Dutch silversmith J.M. van Kempen in Utrecht(later in Voorschoten). In the 19th century it was very fashionable in The Netherlands to add silver mounts, lids and handles to antique porcelain objects. Silvermarks: walking lion (silver grade 835), minerva head, maker's mark and year letter U for 1854...

A Yaozhou covered jar was in fantastic look.
It was well carved with floral motifs on the surface.
In characteristically yellowish green tint of the glaze, the ware was revealed with the also characteristic beige body clay.
Obvious incursions were happened to the glaze in foggy look.
One manufacturing defect was found at the foot ring.
Otherwise, it was in perfect condition without any restorations,.

Small mask representing the face of a "lakhe", an celestial entity which protects humans and households against evil spirits. Wood, with beautiful dark patina. Himalayan Region, 18th century. Height: 5 1/4" (13,5 cm). The mask is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Old restoration at the back of the right eye, erosion due to age, otherwise very good condition. A rare piece in this size.
This rare Chinese bamboo and jade opium pipe is a mid 19th century product. It is composed of a metal alloy fitting decorated with small pieces of jade and tourmaline as the “saddle”. The two ends of the bamboo are decorated with jadeite. It is 23” long and 1” in diameter. Aside from an age crack and some scratches on the bamboo, it is in good condition.
A pair of Burmese wooden disciples, with calm facial expression, lacquered and gilded with inlay of colorful glass pieces on the borders of the robes, one of them sitting in adoration posture with two hands attached to each other indicating respectful manner. Traces of original lacquer and gilding remain in excellent condition.

A very finely carved oval-shaped white jade falconer's plaque depicting a five-clawed dragon amongst scrolling foliage. This item was probably made in China in the 18th Century during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795).
