This is Swan 's wing Weave haori coat very rare at the end of bakumatsu of Edo period(1852-1867). This was made in the Tohoku region. There are a water-repellent effect and an effect of heat insulation of swan's shuttlecock. Textile seems to be hand spun and woven.It is little, is thin, and it sees. There is no damage. The lining is silk. There is a little repair mark in the lining. The cloth is strong and the state is very good. It is wonderful textile.It is also possible to enjoy putting it on...

A nice shape of blue and white garlic head vase, well balance potted and decorated with Mandarin ducks swimming and flight among lotus pond. Late Ming dynasty 17th century found in West Sulawesi Majene city. Condition is perfect, with no any chips, no any cracks and free from any restoration. Height: 25,6 cm.

An early Thai, Sukhothai period Celadon-glazed stoneware figure of a mother, shown chewing an ancient form of Narcotic drug known as Miang.

This item was made in China for export, circa 1790-1830 - probably during the reign of the Jiaqing emperor. Lovely old Burmese lacquer box with a finely woven lattice work, insert lid (I assume to keep the flies off your “tiffin”) or used to sieve. Circa 60-90 years old, it is very thin and lightweight and the body is constructed of bamboo., I acquired this in a Pagan, lacquer shop about 20 years ago. Excellent original condition with minor lacquer loss at the bottom’s edge as to be expected from a genuinely old piece. D: 30.5cm/12in and H: 16cm/6.2in.

Description: This is a vey finely potted yingqing or qingbai meiping from the Song dynasty. The body is incised with a beautifully free hand drawing of lotus flower with scrolling foliages.

Dimension: The height is 17cm and the dimeter at the widest part of the body is 11cm.

Condition: In good condition with no repair, restoration, chip or crack. Minor abrasion, especially at the mouth (picture 5)and very minor abrasion on the body.

Han-gappa (short jacket) made of kuzdu-fu whose wefts are kudzu fiber and warps are cotton. Kudzu is one kind of leguminous plant. The collar is made of imported wool. Han-gappa made of kudzu-fu was worn in summer and other ones with lining was for winter. The design of the straps show it was made after Tenpo era (1830∼1844）in Edo period, according to the "Kinsei Fuzoku-shi" Buttons are made of the horn of the water buffalo...

A beautiful late 19th/20th Chinese coin sword, usually used for religion ceremony in excellent condition. L:48cm

This late 19th century Chinese ivory statue of a bearded scholar is 5 ½ inches tall and 3 inches wide at the widest part. His eyes are half closed; he holds a scroll gently against his cheek. There are two characters read as ¡°Da Ming¡± on the bottom. The inscription means ¡°Great Ming Dynasty¡± which is quite common on ivory carvings or porcelain. There are a few hair line cracks due to the age of the piece. Over all, it is in great condition.
