This late 19th century Japanese small cloisonn¨¦ vase is 3 ½ inches tall and 2 1/8 inches wide. It carries a chrysanthemum and butterfly design on a black and goldstone background. It is in good condition.
Amazing boro cloth which is one side of body part of noragi (farm wear). The ground cloth as well as mending patches are hand-spun cotton and vegetable indigo dyed. Sashiko thread is also indigo dyed cotton. Asa (hemp) thread is seen in the side seam and that means it is rather old. The second half of the 19th century. 32cm x 184cm

Thai 14th - 15th Century Sawankhalok Celadon Bowl (19.75cm)
This stoneware bowl was made at the Sawankhalok kilns around the 14th - 15th century. It is quite "heavily-potted" and coated in a finely-crackled translucent celadon glaze. The inner surface has been decorated with incised parallel bands and vertical lines. The unglazed lower part of the underside has fired to a reddish-brown.
Quite a large bowl with a diameter of 19.75 cm...
The reason why this bowl is so rare is the fact, that nearly all bowls of this kind of Medallion bowls are " Doucai " bowls on that the underglaze Cobalt - blue outlines of the decoration are filled with overglaze enamels. Sometimes there are also to find such bowls that do show the underglaze blue outlines only, which are for whatever reason still not filled with overglaze enamels. The decoration of such pieces somehow give an " incomplete impression"...

The necklace is 26.9 inches (68.3 cm) in circumference. The coral bead is 7.3mm-12.9mm. The silver enamel bead is 6mm-25.4 mm. It is 100.1 gram.
