Antique Korean three section chest with beautiful inlay on black lacquer. The top section has three small drawers along the top, decorated with inlay in a geometric pattern. The cabinet doors are decorated inside with scenes of birds on branches. The other panels are decorated with landscapes, scenes of birds, and other animals. Choson period, circa 1900. It measures 20" deep 68" tall 40.25" wide.

This is an ANTIQUE CHINESE PORCELAIN FAMILLE ROSE BOWL from a Midwest USA Estate. Size is 8.5" in Diameter X 4.5" Height both approx. Painted with a Court Scene. Circa 1825- 1850

Cup with everted flat lip and a short raised foot. Decorated in underglaze cobalt - blue on the rim with a key - fret design and a continuous chrysanthemum scroll on the exterior. Porcelain body with a transparent glaze. Base recessed and unglazed. D : 8 cm. Jingdezhen or Fujian. Yuan Dynasty fourteenth century. A Korean Rare/Fine Scholar’s Wood Bookshelf Chest: Korean, Joseon period, 19th century The paulownia wood surfaces ot the rectangular chest covered by old aged natural patina, mounted with metal fittings, the two central and rectangular hinged doors, and mounted with metal hinges and lock attacked to the lockplate the two doors opening to the double inner horizontal compartments set. It’s in fine condition with aged natural patina. Measurements; 86cm x 42.5cm x 70cm h.

A late 18th or early 19th Century Famille Rose enamelled jar made in China, probably for export, during the reign of the Jiaqing emperor. For comparison (of enamels) we have pictured two export Lion Joss Stick Holders (usually dated either late Qianlong or Jiaqing, circa 1800) in our last enlargement.
