This is a Han dynasty funerary pottery tripod censer of grey colour, painted with pigment. There are traces of red and white colour pigment on the body as well as on the edge. The tripod censer stands on three short pediform feet. The holes above the body and the raising of the three feet suggests that it may have been used as an incense burner...

This is a 17th century, coloured stone Buddha statue. It is curved out of a single piece of solid rock. The clothing on the body is maroon in colour and the boarder around the sleeve and neck is in black colour. The Buddha face, hand and feet are covered with traces of gold leaf gilding. The head is originally painted in blue colour but later painted with black paint. The head also has circle design on it all around...

Syllabub or custard cup (or pot de crème) in the shape of a bud or a fruit within relief moulded, stylized scale leaves. The lid modelled as a small Mandarin cap. Decorated with European style flowers and gilt borders. Late Qianlong. Cf Swedish publications Gyllenswärd (1977) p. 133 and Wirgin (1998) p. 19, where the same border is depicted and dated to 1784, ordered for the Swedish King. The border closest to the knob of the lid has a neoclassical, "fasces" motif...

A blue and white octagonal plate, Qianlong period, of flat shape with sharp cut and brown-glazed rim. Decoration of flowers, rock and a willow tree surrounded by a Kanghsi type border. Diameter "8½ to 9¼/ 21,5 to 22,5 cm. Condition: rim frits and glaze imperfections as shown on photos, otherwise fine.

This is a large size Liao dynasty (907–1125 A.D.)moulded polychrome earthenware dish with leaded glaze. It rests on a short foot rim, a slightly flat everted base before rising upwards. It has a simple floral motive. On the underside, the glaze is in dark brown in colour, all the way down just before the short foot rim exposing the earthenware.

There is no crack, chip, repair or any restoration. Minor glaze fritting (picture 4) at roughly about 10 and 1 o'olock...

This is a Yuan Dynasty(1277-1367) celadon covered box. The top cover has a double circle with radiating club shaped like a sun ray all round. Just below it, is the design of foliage circling the all round. The flower part of the covered box also has foliage design design followed by a club shaped motif. The colour of the top half is lighter than the lower half of the covered box.

The covered box has minor abrasion and minute pinholes. No chip, crack, repair or restoration...

This is a wonderful Qing Dynasty child's hat from Shui minority group in the Rong Jiang area. It is traditional looking Chinese cap style made with silk fabric and silk split thread embroidery, and top knot. This hat is over 100 years old, and has wonderfully soft patina, and shows some wear. This pair of Famille Rose Mille Fleures (thousand flowers) demitasse are late Qing Dynasty products. The saucers are 4 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 inch high, the cups are 2 1/4 inches high and 2 1/8 inches wide. They depict a large pink peony in the center while chrysanthemum, lily, hibiscus, iris and several unknown flowers cover entire bodies. The cups have bamboo design handles. There are Guang Xu (1875~1908) marks and three separate floral (peony) designs on the bottoms...

Rare Mid Edo Period choba, merchant's chest, from the Sakata area, made of kiri (paulownia) wood with original patina (not refinished), nice iron hardware, interior (behind sliding panels) contains set of five drawers (three on the right, 2 on the left) and one hidden drawer. Possibly made from an old kimono, this sweet drawstring purse charming painted and appliqued scenes of trees, rocks and flowers going around the body of the purse. The bottom shows a country gentleman sitting on a rock under a tree enjoying the mountain view. overall condition is very good, however the fabric sleeve for the drawstring is deteriorated. This is a 16th/17th Century blue and white bowl. On the outside of the bowl it is painted with a chi-dragon with bifurcated tail and a plant. On the inside of the bowl, it shows a chi-dragon twirling around in a circle.

There is no hairline crack, chip, repair or restoration. Only minor rim and foot fritting, pin holes and some sand grits on the base on the inside of the bowl. Other than that, the bowl is in good condition.

This is a small and very finely potted Song Dynasty (960 – 1276) small yingqing bowl. It stands on a short glazed foot rim and base rising to an everted u-shaped glazed body stopping short of the rim. Both the rim inside and outside of the bowl is unglazed exposing the porcelaneous body. On the inside and the base of the bowl, it is incised with some branches and a single prunus flower.

This is museum quality, small Liao dynasty (907-1125) sancai green glazed moulded moon flask ewer. It stands on a flat foot rising to a rounded side body with a spout mouth and a handle. The top opening of the ewer is moulded into the shape of five leaves in five divided panels (picture 6). On each side of the moulded body, it is decorated all round with rounded heads and within it side, there are two dragons flying in the dense moulded cloud.
