This marked, rare, fish decorated bowl comes from an old German colletion. The condition of the glaze of the bowl is so perfect and glossy that it simply is impossible that this bowl is an excavated piece. The glaze of this bowl is so much better than the glaze of excavated pieces so that this bowl must be an rare unearthed piece which already in very early times - maybe hundreds of years ago - came to Europe.
